Alert – Fraudulent Activity

This is to alert you to a group called, American University Center or American Central Education or similar groups that might be offering to assist you in locating on-line courses. DO NOT EMPLOY THE SERVICES OF THESE GROUPS. Their offers are fraudulent having no legitimate connection with accredited universities. In at least 3 cases, they have created false documents that students have presented to their home universities. In all 3 cases the forgeries were discovered and the students’ degrees were revoked. The students are now attempting to return to the U.S. to complete their degrees. Further, in accordance with our notice posted on May 26, 2005, all internet courses must be taken at your home universities.
