About
us The
primary mission of the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait is
to support the development of Kuwait's human resources, create diversity in educational
opportunities and develop links between the educational and research institutions
in Kuwait and those in the United States and Canada. The Cultural Office also
seeks to promote the transfer of technology and ideas towards the advancement
of Kuwait's institutions and people. Here at the Cultural
Office we are committed to receiving, placing, counseling and advising Kuwaiti
students who are attending universities and colleges in the United States and
Canada. We conduct general supervisory activities to ensure the adjustment, care
and well-being of Kuwaiti students and their families. The Cultural Office also
seeks to initiate, promote and maintain links with appropriate universities as
well as educational and research organizations. In support
of its mission, The Cultural Office provides a range of services to it's scholars:
- Intensive English and Academic Placement.
-
Monitoring Academic progress.
- Disbursement of scholarship
funds to students.
- Payment of tuition and fees to colleges
and universities.
- Issuance of travel benefit.
-
Resources and information on U.S. educational programs and training opportunities.
Scholarship
students are assigned advisers in the Cultural Office for the duration of their
studies. These advisers work with their counterparts at colleges and universities
to respond to the ongoing educational and social needs of the students. To find

The Cultural Office encourages visits of international educators
to its Washington Office to learn more about programs offered by the university,
review the progress of currently enrolled students, and explore ways of opening
new avenues of cooperation. To schedule a visit to the Culture Office, please
