Dr. Abeer Al-Hooli is the current Cultural Attaché with oversight for all the Graduate Department serving graduate scholars and professors on sabbatical leave sponsored by the Civil Service, Kuwait University, The Public Authority for Applied Education & Training (PAAET), Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) and all graduate students sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education.
Dr. Al-Hooli earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Curry School of Education, the University of Virginia in 2001. She earned her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the United States.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the Public Authority of Applied Education and Training in Kuwait. 
Dr. Al-Hooli comes to this position from PAEET where she is a faculty member in the College of Basic Education within the Department of Curriculum & Instruction. She also recently served as a Director of the Office of Practical Education; and Advisor for the “Early Childhood Education Program” at PAAET.
Dr. Abeer Al-Hooli has published a plethora of educational research papers in the field of Education and Educational Administration. Her published works have been featured in educational journals and magazines throughout the United States and the Middle East. 
Dr. Al-Hooli has also been an esteemed member of the following international Institutions: Board of Editors, International Journal of Applied Educational Studies (IJAES); Board of Directors for Kuwait Environment Protection Society; National Association for the Education of Young Children; National Society for Protection of Children (founding member), National Council of Teachers in Mathematics and the Women’s Federation for World Peace International under the auspices of the United Nations.
Throughout her career, Dr. Al-Hooli has organized and participated in numerous conferences and educational seminars sessions domestically, regionally and internationally. Dr. Al-Hooli has also worked voluntarily with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs.  Dr. Al-Hooli is an energetic education, peace and environmental affairs activist who is active in a variety of domestic and international organizations.
